Edward’s best memory is one from the near present, as most of his human memories are rather fuzzy. This memory would have to be the day in the meadow where Bella saw him for what he truly was for the very first time. Seeing her look at his sun touched skin with nothing but acceptance and affection (or so what Edward could tell through her body language.) It still lifts his mood to see the look on her face from when she saw him to this day.

His worst memory serves as a constant dark reminder of his less than honorable deeds. And it’s from the years of his rebellion. Despite the fact that they were the supposed scum of society, the ones he hunted, he can still remember the vivid details of their deaths and single last thought that went through their minds during their last moments of consciousness. It’s a subject that he does not like bringing up, but it’s an unavoidable detail about him that he last expressed with Bella. To this day, he still strongly regrets leaving his family for that short while in order to go on a human hunting spree.

Edward was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 20th, 1901. He had green eyes and bronze hair like his mother. In 1918, when he was 17 years old, he conctracted the Spanish influenza. His father had already died and it was his mother's last wish that Carlise do everything he could to save Edward. Despite Carlisle's aversion to the wish, he turned Edward into a vampire in hopes of having a companion. Edward moved around with Carlisle and since that time, Edward has been passed as Carlisle's adopted son or as the younger brother of his wife, Esme.

Once Esme joined the family, Edward went into a bout of rebellion and split paths with Calisle for a time. Edward used his gift of mind-reading to single out and hunt serial killers, rapists, child molesters, etc… and drain their bodies of their blood for his satisfaction. About four years later, he decided that it was no longer working out due to the extreme amounts of guilt and shame that preceded him ending their lives. He then returned to Esme and Carlisle whom pleasantly surprised him by welcoming him back with open arms.

Around 1936 after a few more editions to the family, the Cullens moved to Forks, where they encountered the Quileute tribe. A treaty was then arranged stating that the Quileutes would not reveal the Cullens' secret so long as they did not bite any humans within the area. They were also told to stay off of Quileute land. The Cullens lived in Forks for a few years before moving on to other places. Presently, the Cullens have moved back to Forks where Edward was once again pretending to be Carlisle and Esme's adopted son.
