Rosalie wasn't feeling all that well, but her stomach had finally settled for a little while, so she was actually able to function and leave the bathroom that was adjacent to her bedroom. So Rosalie decided to grab a book off of the small bookshelf in her room, then go downstairs to the living room and read for an hour or so. There wasn't much else that she was able to do today, since everyone else had pretty much gone off on their own and had their own plans. Currently, Rosalie wasn't sure as to what Emmett's location was, but it wasn't like she was going to go off in search of him right now. He was a big boy now and Rosalie could only control him from time to time.
Opening up the book to the first page, Rosalie wondered if she was going to enjoy this book or not. It was a book that was written about seventy or so years before she was born, so the chances of her actually enjoying this novel were pretty much slim to none. Rosalie wasn't going to jump to such quick conclusions though, she figured that she would at least give it a fair chance and read through the first couple of chapters to see if the plot jumped up and grabbed at her attention. If it did, then she would have the book done in the next couple of days. Though as soon as Rosalie turned to the first page of the novel, her thoughts drifted to the fact that she had a secret that she needed to tell her hubby, Emmett, and how much she really wasn't looking forward to that.

Isabella had a whole day planned out for her and her wonderful Edward. She made sure to be up early and out the house before Charlie could stop her and give her like the third degree. He still was not to keen on her and Edward. God he was was turning into such a father figure lately. So anyways Bella drove to the Cullen's house to spend the day with Edward. She parked her truck and walked up to the door of the fabulous Victorian mansion. She knocked on the door hoping that Edward remembered that they were going to be together today. Lately Edward had been forgetting their dates and has been off with Emmett and stuff. Bella waited on the patio patiently. She began to mess with her shirt and hair as she waited for someone to answer the door. Edward told she was always welcome and to make herself at home anytime but she thought it be rude to just walk into the house like it was her own. True she would love to live here with Edward but the chances of that happening were slim to none. So like it was said before she waited on the patio for the door to be opened by someone and hopefully that someone be anyone but Rosalie. God how the two disliked each other. Why they hated each other so much is still a sort of mystery but whatever.

After wondering about what she was going to do and how she was going to bring up the topic of a baby to Emmett, Rosalie finally settled herself into the couch comfortably and began the first page of the first chapter in her book. She was no more than a paragraph or two into the chapter when Rosalie had hear a knock at the door. "Damn it," she said, mumbling it under her breath though. Reluctantly, Rosalie got off of her comfortable spot on the couch and went towards the door. As soon as she had opened it though, she was faced with the one person that she didn't want to really see.
"I'm not sure where Edward is. He's probably off with Emmett," she said, turning away from Bella and going back into the living room. Rosalie didn't invite the girl into the house, but instead left the door open as she walked away. If Bella wanted to enter the house, then she could do so if she please; hell, even Edward had invited her into their home whenever she had wanted to come over. As Rosie sat back down on the couch, she picked up her book again, ignoring the fact that Bella was still standing in the frame of the door.

"Hello to you too Rosalie."Bella said as she entered the house and closed the door. She walked into the living room and looked at Rosalie sitting on the couch like she was all that and a bag of chips. "Do you know when they will be back? Wait aren't you normally with them? Why are you here and not with them?" Bella looked at Rosalie questionably. It was not completely normal for Emmett and Edward to go off with out Rosalie and everyone. Bella sat on a chair and looked out the window. How could Edward forget yet again. This is like the fifth time that he has done this to me. I mean what have I done wrong to make him not want to be with me? Oh god what if I did something wrong? What if he is tired of me? Bella began to get lost in her own thoughts all about Edward. Poor girl has fallen badly for this vampire. He says he has fallen for her too but lately it seems he has fallen out of love; not spending as much time with Bella like usual. Bella sighed as she tried to figure out why Edward left and did not tell her and why he forgot about their date yet again. And now to top off this lovely day she had to see Rosalie. This was not her day now. She felt like crap and well she just did not know what to do know.

Not really seeing the need to confront Bella with much more, Rosie began to start reading from her book once more, well, up until Bella had decided that she was going to initiate a conversation between them. Sighing softly, Rosalie looked up from her book with an annoyed look on her face, "No I do not know when the boys are going to be back. To be quite honest, I don't even know if they are really together right now." It was true, Emmett had left earlier this morning, not giving an exact location as to where he was going to be and whom he was going to be there with. Rosalie had shrugged it off and continued on thinking about what was going to happen once she was going to be forced to tell Emmett and the rest of the family about the baby that was growing rather quickly inside of her stomach. It was only going to be another week or so until she was going to start showing.
And the questions seemed to continue on flowing out of Bella's mouth aimed at her. "I didn't feel like going wherever it is that my husband went. He's a big boy now, I don't have to go everywhere with him. And not that it's any of your business anyway, I didn't feel like going because I was sitting in thought when Emmett left early this morning and I didn't want to be disturbed. I don't like to be disturbed when I'm thinking," Rosie had said. "Or reading?" Rosie said, moving her eyes from Bella back to her book. "Do you have anything else that you could be doing today? If the boys are together, then they're probably hunting and if that's the case, who knows when they'll be back home," Rosalie spit out, just before she flipped the current page that she was on, so that she would be able to continue on with her reading.

Bella looked at Rosalie. God that girl had serious issues. "Alright I am sick of this crap! What the hell is wrong with you? What do you have against me huh? I never did a thing towards you yet you hate my guts! Why?" That was it Bella exploded. She could not take the negativity or the hatred. She wanted everyone that was in Edward's life to like her. The only person who did not like her and had no reason for it was Rosalie. She had some nerve. God Bella wanted to just clear the air with Rosalie.
Bella continued to look out the window awaiting so sort of response from the girl sitting on the couch reading some book that she probably read before. Bella was filled with emotions and was just furious with all of this. She wanted to know why. Why was it that she was the center of hatred for this girl. Why was there tension between them even though they do not even know each other. Bella just wanted to understand where all this was coming from. Then once she knew she would drop the subject and leave this poor girl alone. Bella just needed...whats the word...closure. She wanted to understand where this girls hatred was coming from then she would be fine. She would go on living her day like it was what ever between the two.

Hearing the change in Bella's voice made Rosalie look up from her book, closing it and not giving a care in the world as to where she had left off. Seeing the agitation on Bella's face was simply priceless and it made Rosie grin wickedly for a moment. Then Rosie got more serious and decided that she was going to answer Bella's question that was hollered at her very abruptly. "Why do I hate you? I don't hate you Bella, I envy you!" Rosie said, raising her voice slightly. "You are a human, you can grow old and die. I want that. I don't want to live forever. And only till recently, I found out that vampires having children was possible, but very very rare, so I don't envy you about that anymore. And I can't seem to grasp why you would want to live a life like the ones that this family lives. Living forever isn't as easy as it looks Bella," Rosie spat at her.
Stopping for a moment to ease the thirst for blood that she had going on currently. Rosie knew that Edward and the rest of the family would be very upset with her if she were to attack Bella. "You don't want to be a vampire Bella, it's not a game, it's serious and it's forever," Rosie said, emphasizing the word forever as she said it. "Don't get me wrong, it has it's good days, but there are a ton more bad ones that happen as well." Rosie paused for a moment, thinking about what else she was able to say now. "Not only that, but vampires and werewolves cannot be friends and there are no exceptions to the rules," she stated. "So that means no more Jacob," Rosie said. "You wouldn't want to crush the poor dog, would you?" Rosie asked curiously.

"Envy me? Why the hell would you envy me? Being human is not all that it is cracked up to be. I would be more than willing to switch places with you, if that was at all possible. But sadly it is not. I want to be one of you because being a human being mortal sucks. I hate having Edward worrying about me twenty four seven. I would rather be able to defend myself and not be such a bother.
Bella finally looked at Rosalie. She could not believe that Rosalie of all people was envious of her. Being human truly sucked. Having Edward watching you all the time and having him worry about her. She hates always feeling horrible about causing him stress. She hated the thought of causing anyone in this family stress. Edward was one of the most important things in her life and the thought of losing him was a fear she lived with every day. Bella sighed, "Trust me you do not want to envy me. If anything I envy you. You have strength and integrity. You can defend yourself and do not have to have a guy worry about you all because you are a human. You are the lucky one Rosalie not me. Bella looked at her with sincerity in her eyes. She meant what she said.

Rosie laughed slightly, "Even if you do become a vampire, Edward is going to worry constantly about you. It'll be that way forever, no matter what you do. He'll always be worrying about you, human or vampire. And to be quite honest with you, you'll be more of a bother if you're a vampire. Do you know how many years it took all of us to finally be able to resist the temptation of human blood?" Rosie asked. "To this day, it's still a big struggle for all of us. Look at Jasper for an example, he's snapped at you a couple of times already." Already knowing that this conversation was completely pointless because Bella wasn't going to change her opinion about desperately wanting to be a vampire, Rosie figured that she'd just end the spat now. Well, she had a few more things to say before she ended it, but it was nearing its end.
"Just because we have strength and integrity, doesn't mean anything. And for you information, I do have a guy that worries about me. It may not be because I'm human, but he worries about me constantly. Look Bella, just do me a favor and think about the decision to change yourself into a vampire a bit longer. Especially since we just got a new family member. It's bad enough that we all have to look out for her and if we all have to look out for the both of you, we're not going to be able to do it. Especially with Jasper still not being able to fully control himself around you," Rosie said, looking over at Bella.
