Bring the bell rung for lunch as students flocked the hallways to get a good spot in line. Maxine slowly made her way out of her French class and out the door, no need to rush she didn't eat food, so it really meant she wasn't hungry. Well, she was a little hungry but no for food, she wanted some blood, but it wasn't a strong thirst, yet. She gracefully walked down the hallway, a few sophomore's stopped to gap at her beauty, she just rolled her eyes and continued, she really didn't pay attention at the stares and glares she receives, she hates receiving attention, especially about her insane beauty. Sighing she made it to the entrance of the overly crowded cafeteria. She waited a maximum of 10 minutes in line to get something she would never eat. She grabbed her typical orange and bowl of salad, along with a water.
Sitting down at the Cullen table she let out a great big sigh, her family wasn't here yet, well, her newer family. they had all taken her in with open arms, especially Esme, she should be what a mother is really like, and that is something she is proud of. The Cullens were a terrific family, they were all around kind and thoughtful always taking time out of their day to help her control her hunger, mainly Edward and Jasper helped her out with her thirst, which she really appreciated. She stretched her arms like any normal human would and started to pick at her food, she wished she could eat human food, it looked really interesting to her, she can't really remember the taste of human food, and she missed it.
